Ferrets are such bizarre animals.. I thought a ballet would be both visually intriguing and just plain funny.

I tried to integrate the theme of “Fast” with Halloween. Happy Halloweenie!!

To increase my saturation into new and exciting realms of children’s publishing I have added a second, more simplified style. My most recent addition is “Happy Birthday Slug!” I love to draw their little eye-stalks and pudgy bodies; this was so much fun to paint.

For my Halloween mailing this year I’ve thrown together a few new techniques and a lot of laughter to create “Franken-Pig.” He strikes fear in the hearts of mice the world over. I’ve included a clip of my process:
